So much for Santa Clause

Stella is in her second semester of music classes and she is greatly enjoying it. Ever since Stella was born we have received roughly around five catalogues a month from different vendors selling children's toys and the like. Never once asked for them, but we got them. Anyway, one day we were going through one such catalogue and saw that there is an instrument set that you can buy with several of the instruments we use in class. Grandma decided she wanted to get her this gift for Christmas.

So yesterday while walking through the aisles of Target we found a similar set at a better price with a greater variety of instruments. Great. So today the message was relayed to Grandma who said she would get the present this afternoon to not miss out as things during this season move quickly off the shelves.

In the early part of the morning Belinda receives a photo message from her mom.

The title of the message, "Christmas came early." Looks like Stella will be playing her instruments to entertain us at Thanksgiving.

Not two minutes before I received the photo I was thinking to myself, "How hard do I really have to hide the gifts?" I mean, I could put them in her closet and she wouldn't know what they were. The need to put them in trash bags and up in the crawl space probably wont kick in for a few years.

My guess is however, taking her shopping to buy the gift is still out of the question. I know for a fact, Grandma is not going to keep her baby waiting till Christmas to play with this toy.
