Stella's Day Out

What I thought would not happen at least until the teenage years has already come into fruition. Stella likes to shop.

Mrs. Chapa, Belinda and Stella all had a day out as Belinda gets ready to head back to work. As part of their day they all went to the mall La Cantera. Here's the thing. Y'all have heard me mention it before...Stella has a small window of time that you can keep her out and about. That day at luby's we arrived around seven p.m. got our food, sat down, and ate in thirty minutes. Mrs. Chapa was still eating her food and Belinda and I had swallowed ours.

So what else could I assume except the same would happen while out at the mall. And why go to the mall if you have thirty minutes to shop. It was money in the bank as I saw it.

So guess who spent four hours en la calle shopping. Apparently, the only store Stella did not like was a make-up store. Aside from that she was soaking it all in. Mrs. Chapa told me that she was pushing Stella around in her stroller telling her that this is where her daddy would bring her back shopping. Looking for context clues I examined all the bags they brought home. Thankfully there were no blue bags from Tiffany's or bags from Neiman's or Nordstrom. Unfortunately, there is no Big Lots or Wal-Mart at La Cantera.

This day out Stella got a new bottle brush to do dishes and some new pacies. My guess is it can only get more expensive from here.

yay! (Insert sarcasm here)
