Stella's Manolo's

So a few days ago Belinda got a food bug. We ate the same thing from Las Palapas but Belinda got sick. I explained to Belinda that I had years of eating bad to build a resistance to salmonella and a little bad batch of nachos was not going to keep me down. So she was out for about 24 hours. Due to the fever we kept her from Stella. It meant me and Stella spent some good quality time together. It was during that time Belinda would look over. Raise her "weak" limbs and say, "tell her I love her." To give it all a bit of perspective. I was sitting on the left side of the couch and Belinda was sitting on the right. We were separated by four feet.

Thankfully, yesterday Mrs. Chapa arrived to start her stay with us. I was ecstatic that Belinda's comments about Mrs. Chapa not being able to request time off did not get her to change her mind. Stella was equally excited. According to Belinda yesterday was a go easy day and today was suppose to start the OJT. Thankfully Mrs. Chapa has a wonderful sense of humor.

I received several comments about the photo of Stella not smiling and everyone seems to think we had something to do with her look. As such, I took out the camera again to take her picture and show you the look I get once the camera comes out. Take into consideration that two seconds before the camera came out she was giggling. This however is what happens when the lens is put on her.

Much like the Old Man and the Sea and Moby Dick, I will get my photo of her laughing.

With that said, I could not stop laughing when I was greeted by Stella tonight. Take a look of the photo of what she had on her feet.

They are shoe rattles. Little socks with stuffed animals on them that have rattles in them. They are hilarious. They were all the rage in Milan this year. Every move she would make would make her smile. Of course, this was until the camera came out.
