We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Programing

To bring you this public service announcement.

Do you think people who avoid germs are participating in an exercise of futility

Is it your opinion that all the hype about the swine flu was for nothing?

Have you gone somewhere and wondered...did that person wash their hands?

We here at Casa Gonzalez wanted to let you know we feel germs are bad and yes, you can win the war against them.

That's why we have setup a full scale shock and awe campaign at the front door of our house. Before entering the home you will find antibacterial hand sanitizer, face masks, and some HAZMAT suits. Why you ask. Because we believe germs are part of the axis of evil. There constant attempt to infiltrate our home and bring about an Apocalypse remains a constant threat against our health and we will not rest until we are certain that all germs are killed (at least for the next six months while Stella's immune system is still developing). We ask that you stand united with us in our attempt to fight these villains. With your help we will maintain a suitable living environment that is free of biological warfare and free of terror.

So we ask you this:

(Cue patriotic music)

Be not annoyed when we ask you to wash your hands, we will be free.
Be not offended if you are not able to pick-up a certain someone, for we must be vigilant.
Be not upset you with slight coughs, while your intentions are pure. We must not lose sight of our mission.
Be not surprised if we do not believe you that it is just sinuses. Too many armies have fallen to such Trojan horses.
Above all, be not afraid.

For as we stand here. United in one cause. United in one mission. United in one force. We know that together, we will prevail.

God bless you and God bless Stella.

Evidence that everyone, and we mean everyone, has joined us in this mission. My brother-in-law Joey.

Remind me to give you my handbook on universal precautions. If that doesn't help, i can ask the nurses who were screening people at the VA if they are looking for some extra work.
