Stella was given this glorious high chair by her Grandma and Grandpa Chapa. They wanted to by her her periquera as they knew it was a sign of independence. Like that little bird who no longer needs to be feed from the mouth of her mother so to Stella was no longer being feed from……Ok I will stop with that joke there.
When you go shopping for a high chair many of your choices look like a tie-dye shirt. It seems baby product manufactures work under this premise. A product will either be blue or pink. If it is not one of those colors then they will make the product to include fifteen different colors. Finding a product that does not fit into this premise is like finding a panaderia on the North Side of town. It doesn’t happen. (Yet another reason to start a franchise of “Pan de Gibby”) Thankfully we were able to find a periquera (high-chair) without the rainbow connection.
Stella was not quite sure what to make of the experience. Once we got her all strapped in I think she thought she was going for a trip. The only reason she ever gets strapped into anything is when we have her in the car seat or the stroller. In case I have not mentioned it yet-Stella hates being strapped in. Call her a free spirit. Call her a rebel. She simply refuses to be held down. Once you do strap her in, don’t look into her eyes cause you will be frightened.
Stella, don't be to upset we posted this picture of your. This is what your dad looks like sometimes after her eats the number three from Whataburger.
