Who's a Pepper?

It's Friday at 9p.m. and the baby is asleep. Every night its the same routine. Change the baby into her night shirt (See Star Trek Post), give her her customary lavender message. move her to the crib for her swaddle while a lovely image is projected on the ceiling and playing songs. Its four songs and she is into the next room for her swing. (Yes, she sleeps in a swing). Once in that room we cue the humidifier, start the white noise, and sing her our particular songs.

At that point. She's out.

After all that Belinda comes to the kitchen to wash her bottles for the next day. We stocked up on all the small bottles for her when she was born, but she already grew out of those so we wash the four big bottles we have every night. An example of the bottle is in the photo. Each of those bottles has 5 parts. Tiny parts. The manufacture is even kind enough to include with the bottle the specialty brush to wash the small inners of the bottles. The bottles in case you want to buy some are called Dr. Browns. Belinda today caved and bought two new sets of bottles. Not only did she buy the new bottles, but she threw the old ones in the dishwasher to wash cause we were both a little pooped to be doing dishes. It does not sound like a big deal I'm sure, but its important to know that nothing else is in the dishwasher except the six total bottles. I say do it! Cause if the dishwasher didn't do them then I would probably be doing them.

So while Stella has her Dr. Brown's bottles mom and dad have their Dr. Pepper's cans. Its a much easier way of life. One can. One glass. No special cleaning tools needed. I know everyone says you miss the days when they are baby's but from the look of the photo above and the sound of the dishwasher running in the background. I'm going to guess Stella and us both want her to be old enough to drink out of a glass. Would we give her soda? Who knows. She wouldn't be keeping it real if she did not have barbacoa(Spelling?) and Big Red on Sundays. (That might just be a San Antonio thing.) At this point in the battle against doctors, it looks like Dr. Brown is the drink for our Stellita.

It was a good week. I'm off to see if my friend the doctor wants to go hang out with my friend from Tennessee Mr. Daniel's. He won't I know Mr. Cola will.
