Belinda is reading some book titled "The Happiest Baby on the Block" It has something about the five "S's." I'm not reading the book so I don't remember them all except one. Apparently when baby is fussy you should say "Ssssh" the baby to create some kind of white noise. It says if you can't do this for long find something that will mimic the sound.
So while cooking dinner it hit me. The oven hood makes a great "Ssssh." And it's like there are five of me doing the sound. So when Stella got fussy, again I took her to the kitchen and sure enough it worked.
So I figured let's put her in the kitchen all night. The face you probably just made is the same one Belinda made only she hit me along with the look. I was just talking about the leaving the baby there. I was thinking more of a family lock-in style night in the kitchen. Needless to say my idea was shot down.
I will have plenty of time to think of another idea at 12, 2, 4 and 6 this evening.

WHATEVER WORKS!!! Stephanie spent most of her life in her baby swing! She needed to be rocked the entire night to sleep...too bad we didn't invest stock in batteries!
Love,
MH
I agree, whatever it takes. Did i mention I use to sit in the restroom with Francisco with the water running at 3AM. It would put him right out every time!
gerry
You need to get some kind of ambient sounds CD to play in her room.
