During labor Belinda caught a fever and it passed its way to Stella. As such, the doctor is going to keep her in the hospital for a week to administer an antibiotic. The actions of the doctor are preemptive in nature as we will not know for two days whether or not a infection was passed to Stella. We ask that your prayers that helped her arrive safely be continued so that she may be cleared and allowed to come home sooner.
It is 11:05 pm as I type this. As exhausted as I am I can't imagine how exhausted Belinda feels. And while I had large ambitions of typing what a wonderful day it was today I must save it for later as I will be waking up in two hours for a feeding. What a feeling not wanting to sleep just to gaze at this little girl.
