First Day Back

This is Belinda holding the baby in the separate part of the hospital nursery where they have put us up. We are just off to the side from all the "Infant Intensive Care System" (aka baby tables). We can see people staring through the windows watching as their new arrivals get bathed and checked for vitals. They have the same faces we had when we saw the nursery nurses man handle the little things. These nurses truly believe it went they give you the advice, "there not going to break" or "babies are extremely resilient."

They separate us from the normal nursery by a basic white slidding curtain. We have started to pass the time by listening to the babies' cry and attempt to decipher what the babies want.

The other part about the curtain is that some of the hospital staff don't know we are back hear. For example, the some of the nurses are really upset about what their husbands bought them for christmas. Others are venting about all the family they had over and how they are glad they are gone. Apparently, three days is the threshold for company to be over.

Ok, they have pulled the curtain open again. I can stop distracting myself from the circumcision (spelling?) that was being performed right next to us. I'm going to say a little prayer for that boy that he never remembers this day.
